Endinger

Engelsberg

Endinger Engelsberg is the heart of our estate. Here, our Pinot vines grow in limestone-rich loess soils, partly over weathered volcanic rock — ideal conditions for bringing the full character of this unique terroir into the grapes. The mild climate and long hours of sunshine define this vineyard on the northeastern Kaiserstuhl, producing wines with juicy fruit, refined elegance, and striking minerality.

Amolterer

Steinhalde

Steinhalde is one of the Kaiserstuhl’s standout vineyard sites, set in the middle of its oldest nature reserve. The Amolterer Heide is known for its rich biodiversity and rare plant and animal species, giving this site a truly unique character. Our southwest-facing slopes and small terraces are cultivated in harmony with nature. Volcanic soils and an elevation of around 330 meters provide ideal conditions for the grapes to ripen. The wines that emerge from this site stand out for their complexity, concentration, and delicate minerality.

Schönenberg

This impressive terraced vineyard overlooks the Upper Rhine plain. Loess soils resting on volcanic rock form the perfect foundation in this outstanding site on the Schönenberg. With vines over 50 years old, the roots reach deep into the soil, absorbing minerals and nutrients that enrich the grapes. At more than 300 meters above sea level, cool nighttime temperatures allow aromas to develop perfectly while maintaining freshness. The wines from this site show remarkable minerality, expressive fruit, and refined elegance.

Wihlbach

Viticulture in Endinger Wihlbach dates back to Roman times. An agricultural estate once stood here, and under Emperor Probus — an avid promoter of winemaking north of the Alps — the first vineyards were planted. Deep layers of limestone-rich loess give the vines an excellent supply of water and nutrients. Wines from the Wihlbach site are distinguished by their juicy character, refined fruit, and impressive complexity.

Eckkinzig

Eckkinzig is home to one of the region’s oldest Chardonnay vineyards. Planted more than 40 years ago as a trial vineyard with vines from France’s top wine regions, the old vines now reach deep into limestone-rich loess soils. This allows essential nutrients and minerals from the subsoil to flow into the grapes. The wines from this site are marked by refined fruit, elegant structure, and a delicately nuanced spice.
